KENZO @ PFW FW 13
It has been over a week since Kenzo went hard in edgy metallics and dashiki gowns at PFW, but that MIA remix amps up my sense of nostalgia like no other. Yes, this is me admitting that I know every Indian song worked into that mix. Don't judge me. Instead, look at how amazingly Kenzo brought out one of my favorite symbols, the eye. This collection calls for more introspection. An eye for an eye for an eye for an eye can literally change the way we look at print in designer collections, as this brand always tends to. Not to mention those wide peep-toe boots in every color/texture/print you could ever dream of...definitely a crowd pleaser. I like to think of this womenswear line as walking art. To trust innate intuition and pair unexpected cuts and create something godly: mission accomplished, Kenzo.
